ok but seriously... srt's are nice. BUT!!!!!! dont get an 05. theres this thing called the "exploding clutch"

its because of loose flywheel bolts from the factory. Wanna see what happened to mine at idle? (I find it funny now...) I did the most disgusting burn out. (it was pitiful.. It was one of those moments.. its a neon who cares) Then the clutch got realllllyyyy hott so I let it sit and it drove fine after although for the past few weeks before I had noticed a slight vibration in the clutch pedal while driving uphill and even a slight clunk. I did the burnout at the "worcester burn outs" The clutch had about ehhhh 100+ track runs on it trapping 110 on street tires so the clutch already hated me (yes i know how to drive... Race hard or go home. why drive like a pansy?) Welp, heres the results!





Those are only bits an pieces. The explosion destroyed my whole car! literally nothing survived under the hood. Not even my valve cover! lol The fly wheel popped off at 1k rpm and well you can see the results! lol Funny thing is I had ordered a clutch that morning and cancelled later in the day so I could grab some other things I needed for non car related stuff.

This has happened too about 200+ 05 srt's. BE CAREFUL!

holy **** this has totally got off topic, in my sig there's my ET I have a stage 2 and exhaust and thats it.

and I raced 2 modded srt4's and 1 stock. i beat the stock, and lost by .7 secs to the modders. ****

 

if i had to say, i would go with cobalt is cavy replacement and srt4=neon, and caliber srt4=dodge omni.

 

for the love of god you dont drive cavilers if you must say that its a cavy at least from now on refer to it as the next gen cavy, its in no way shape or form like one. the cobalt is its replacement
