looking that way, my deal with zach is falling apart... he told me he had a long block for sale and he would bring me the short block. come to find out its a bare block... silly guy trix are for kids...

he was gonna get 2000 off the kit and free install. equaling a savings of 3k

he didnt know there was a difference between "short block" and "block"

and now that darton has seen pics of my block and the crack, i found out my block is still perfectly good for a sleeve job. then i'll still be turbo and finally have the weak link addressed

hip, i thought in your pics I seen a hairline crack behind the sleeve too, just barely splitting apart the casting.

Theoretically a laminova core can leak coolant and make it look like a head gasket right? I've always wondered what kind of life cycle the cores had.

Cometic's used to be a good name, but they seem to be failing on every car platform lately. I always recommend people to stay as far away from them as possible.

Ok here's the deal I did a leak down test and # 4 piston is at 120 compression and the other 3 are 170. So he thinks I might have messed up the head. He doesn't kno if there is any damage under the head. My question is do u think there will b damage on the bottom half of the motor? Where can I buy head studs, head gasket, diamond piston, valve springs, valves, piston rings, connecting rods? If its jus damage to my head he said about $1000 to fix it and if its bottom half about $2000 to fix plus cost of upgraded parts. What u guys think?
