Coverting to E85
Coverting to E85
How reliable is e85 vs regular gas as in the mixure and what not. And just bigger injectors and tune required? On an intake exhaust only car would this yield any power gains? I have multiple stations local and at a dollar less a gallon the fuel savings alone would pay for itself In few months lol.
It's fairly reliable, but probably not as reliable as gas, as far as mixture/octane goes.
Yes just bigger injectors and a tune for your set up.
Yes it will yield power gains but not a whole lot honestly.. However, if you threw a pulley at it with the e85/tune, it'd be a night and day difference.

you have ONE head. e85 should not be combined with meth. you'll get around 270-280whp on a 2.8, e85, full bolt ons, a good tune and cooling mods
Numbers are just numbers... You can't say what you'll make because there's many factors.
Yea mistyped sorry lol I know we only have one. And yea tstone you mighta forgot but we talked about it Before. And he's gonna do mine as soon as my funding is in order lol
hmm don't remember.. I do remember reading "neapolis, ohio" because I map quested it out of curiosity to see how far it was from me lol
ive been on and off e85 for almost 2 years now. the trade off is the same cost wise. meaning u put the same amount of money in ur tank to go the same distance. some have been able to increase mpg by leaning out the car in the crusing cells of the tune.
the main gain from it is the power and with the right setup and tune i think it is safer than gas alone.
the draw back from it is that cold start ups can be a lil tricky to tune but nothing major if u let ur car warm up before driving.
its worth it.

This stuff, I do find the car runs better when its warmed up over 160 ECT, but the cold start issues are a bigger player to you in the winter in OH. I dont have those issues down here. I think the trade is worth it, I only mad about 350whp on 93 without meth, but made up to 472whp on E85 with supporting mods. The idle is good down to 800, and having the right tuner will help with wandering afr issues. My AFR's usually only need changed when I switch form winter E85 (about E70) to summer E85 (i measure every tank with a gauge its E90). I can do this on my own by changing my stocih in my my hptuners from 9.79 to 10.2 respectively. The stuff will not knock, its the safest fuel you can run in a boosted car and its cheaper than all fuels, I get about 20mpg or 200 miles to a tank.
