he's saying that its pointless. waste of hose. its like getting into your car, but from the passenger side. ya, you'll still get there, but it would have been easier to get in from the driver side, and you wouldnt waste as much time.

guys, ive looked at my cxr for days now trying to figure out how to mount the thing and not hang below the bumper. there is exactly 3"- 3 1/8" from the a/c condenser to the bumper bracket. the cxr is 2 7/8" thick.

Point is that the only way for this to not hang low is to notch the bumper bracket for the nipple to clear it. Im using the nipple to actually connect to the resevoir because the bolt on the top of the stock h/e stripped. Im going to get a hack saw and notch a 1/2" wide section out for the nipple.

you dont need to, just cut the nipple off if you need to. its only a drain off. then plug it with some silicon or something

COLE JONES and others...the dual pass plumbing diagrams show a 1/4 line going back to the extra reservoir. If i am unable to run it from the stock h/e then i presume i will need to use the cxr to bleed air back to the reservoir. Im using the option B plumbing.

am i missing something??

The reason they use the one on the factory H/E is that it is at a high point, where air gets stuck. Using one on the lower front mount H/E won't do anything, as air will still get trapped in the big H/E because its higher.
