as for everyone else.... HE JUST WANTED TO SHOW THERE WAS A SPEED LIMITER THAT IS ALL, NOT TO BRAG ABOUT DOING 160....

Correct...i remember reading somewhere that the SS/SCs awhile back do in fact stock have a limiter...i remember someone explaining how to take it off with HPT...this was like when I first starting looking around here...but way to shut people up

 

i have a quick question tho, iv read alot of the posts and even experianced going "fast" but if i remember right when i was stock i maxed her out and i think i got around 144 or somewhere around there, so my qusetion that you probly anwsered a million times is
-did you do that stock
-and i think thats it.

I've had mine pretty much pegged at 150 once...but I hear or saw somewhere that there is a fuel limiter at 147...but I think that was one of those magazine reviews or something...

well, he was not forcedd to go into the car, they probably plan to do that kind of speed by bringning a camera, he was risking his own life......stupid comment right there,

that whole reps system is getting ridiculous, reps is gay.

 

there is a fuel cutoff at 155 .. anyone who has hpt can go in and change the top speed. otherwise it will cutoff at a certain speed.

 

158mph is the fuel cutoff 155 is resume
