dont mean to thread jack Im also wondering about this because I plan on getting a wideband and won't be tuned for a while. will this cause the car not to run If i replace the 2nd o2 with the wideband? and is it to far from the header to be accurate?

The 05/06's you can go catless and just do a rear O2 sensor delete. It's true with the LSJ's so my assumption is you can do it with any other model as well. As for the 07's, you have to have a second O2 bung welded in to use a wideband. Because of all the emissions bullshit you can't do a rear O2 sensor delete like with the 05/06's.

No, you have to go in through HPT and delete the rear O2 sensor code, then unplug the sensor and take it out. I am running my Wideband through that bung, that's why I deleted the rear O2. If you aren't going to get a wideband, just leave the rear O2 sensor in. I had no codes from it.

get a o2 sensor extension, you can get them on e-bay, make sure it has a 90 degree bend in it so it fits. It stops alot of the flow to the O2 sensor so it doesn't read as much so you can go catless and have no check engine light. It worked for me

false .... i own an 07' and i used to have a catless downpipe along with a highflow downpipe and used an angled cel eliminator on it and it never once threw the P420 code. this may not work on all 07's so im not totally calling you, but it worked on mine

I'm talking about deleting the rear O2 sensor all together. It's my understanding that the rear O2 sensor can not be deleted on the 07's. That's what I was getting at.

it varies. some cars get a cel, some do not. I have never gotten a code from high flow or catless. Brand is irrelevent.

I'm about to install a ZZP downpipe on my 07, will I be able to use the downpipe bung for a wideband or will I have to get another welded?

Ok, so your downpipe has 1 bung in it right now. After the cat. If you delete your rear O2 sensor and put in a wideband, your readings will be lean because of the cat. So, you will have to get a separate bung welded in prior to the cat for your wideband.
