Dyno Numbers with Water/Meth Injection.

Does anyone have numbers to prove water/meth injection is actually giving MORE power. I know it cools the intake charge a bunch and is better on the engine, but I wanted to know it anyone actually had numbers. Also I guess 1/4 mile comparisons with and without water/meth would to do actually see if you increased your trap and times.

I am thinking about getting an AIS fenderkit, and just tapping it into my windshield fluid tank and running that. I want my car to appear stock under the hood, so I would like to keep everything hidden. I will NOT be getting tuned for this. I know to get full potential you need a tune, but I and not looking for that now.

Anyone know how much the stock SS/SC windshield fuild tank holds?

Thanks!

Well I ran the other day with and without it. Without it I ran a 14.280 and with it I ran a 13.992.

But my trap times were not consistent with it being so humid and all.

i need to re-tune my car ...lean it out a tad... if i were 11.5 instead of 10.5-10.9, do you think it would be a considerable gain?

You would gain for sure. Your AFR should be 11.5-11.7 anyhow. With Meth you COULD run a 12.0

Has anyone tryed to use the windshield washer tank as the tank for the water injection also? I figured I could hide the whle system very well if I tapped off the bottom the that tank. I think that tank is at leat 2 quarts, it might even be close to a gallon.

Anyone??

a ton of people have just tapped into the windshield washer tank. Prolly around half the people with an injection setup have gone this route

You're welcome. AFR is not as much of an issue as EGRs. With Water/Meth your EGRs should be much lower. And you should hook the meth up to spray EVERY time you go WOT, otherwise there is no point in tuning for it.

devils own has the kit setup to run from the washer fluid tank so that is the easiest and probably cheapest route.

I have people I know with srt-4's and I want to mod as much as possible but still appear 100% stock.. if they ask why the supercharger is loud I say CAI. They think my only mod is a CAI and I beat them with what they think it a stock Cobalt Put them to shame and make them think they have a slow car... know what I mean.

The problem that I had when I did what you are trying to do is that you will clog your cat and it will cause your stock flex pipe in the down pipe to burst and you will have to mod your exhaust. You could always just tell them that you only have an intake and full exhaust. The reason for the downpipe to burst is because of back pressure and the extra fuel (meth) will clog the already shitty cat. Good luck man and welcome to the extremely hard task of taking out SRT4's with a stock turboed cobalt.

I have a 2.4 with a CAI, LSJ extrude honed header/downpipe, and a 2.5 catback. Would I see close to 10whp or more with alchohol inj. through the windshield wiper route? If so, where and how much can I do this for?

Alcohol injection is virtually pointless for a N/A car. Your AIT's are probably close to the temperature outside... The supercharger creates an enormous amount of heat and the AIT's are up to 180 degrees F. =horrible..
