ECM swap

I see on a web site a gm stage 3 ecm (pretuned). So my question is, if I swap my ecm for the stag3 ecm and for some reason I have to reswap for the original to go to my dealership does he can find my swap and void my warranty or if he can't see nothing.

You can just change it out. Once you power the Stage III down and unplug it, there's nothing on the car that has any "logic".

Can't do it with the stage 3 pcm. It is locked so you can't tune it.

if you're that worried, don't mod your car.

And this is why SS owners get **** whenever something breaks and we go in for warranty.

Dude, if your motor goes kaput and you go back to stock, the dealer if they know anything about anything, will go "wtf" and obviously know the hole in cylinder #4 wasnt done from "normal" driving. There is THOUSANDS of LSJ's bone stock that dont have a hole in the wall of cylinder #4. I'd be surprised you could be one of few if at all that have a catastrophic engine failure. I'd sure as hell won't warranty it.
