Enthusiasts and vendors alike... header testing inside!
I just need someone to send me a pacesetter, but I think the results will be similar to the vibrant, unless it's a 3" dp. The latest version has the 1.75" primaries and the construction doesn't look much different. So even if I don't, I could still pm you the results from the testing I've done with the vibrant, which should be a close match.
I am waiting for a piece of pipe to arrive from Dan Ferraro at CIA. When I ordered my header/dp combo, I made the mistake of ordering it to mate to a 2.5" exhaust. Dan was nice enough to send me the piece that I needed to complete my exhaust. I just have to send him back the piece that will be removed.
So I have the common 4-1 header, and hatrickstu has volunteered his to be used for this testing which is a 4-2-1. They will both be done within the next few weeks. We're going to try and make things quick, since the temps here are already starting to slowly drop.

the vibrant works bro. It put down more than the stock header and 3" dp. The vibrant also had more timing on the table. But I feel the clear image is going to be best on my car.
there hasn't been one sent to me yet. I'm still waiting. And it's only 30 pages. Not that much. I am going to go through this again and clean up things for another thread. More information, less bs.
did ralli send u his header yet? the pacesetter header i was suppost to send you (thinking it had 1.75 primarys) only had 1.5 primarys. which is the same as ralli's... so if its easier on u and ralli, i can send you mine. might be a week or so tho, im still getting a DP ready for it
also still have CA V2 willing to contribute, all you have to do is say the word to take it off

Hey guys, I have a couple questions for everyone running the ZZP mid length header/dp combo.
How does the sound differ from the stock setup?
How much louder does it make the car (I don't want it to be too loud)?
Did you feel any noticeable gains in power after putting it on?
Thanks in advance.

i went from 13.8 1/4 to 13.4 from the header alone.....
Sure, if you can get it to me rather quickly, then I'm up for it.

im running a 3 inch catback, the dp is 2.5 though. the collector may be 2.5OD, but the ID is very close to 2.25
that would work great against the vibrant setup. Tell you what, do you have a sleeve for a 3" by chance? I still haven't welded on the 3" piece I am getting from cia, so I can send you mine for the time being until I get done with yours.
Sound good?
edit: The cia has a 2.5" exit.

Guys, got some bad news. today, I had some bad juju happen with the car. It appears my headgasket has blown. She was spewing white smoke out the tailpipe, along with coolant I later found after I shut her down. She also had the scooby sound to her. My coolant reservoir was completely drained, but all my coolant hoses were still intact and secured. So I'm gonna tear the block apart this weekend, try to find out what the cause is of this. I also feel this is the reason why I had issues with the idle. I think that there was coolant getting to the number 2 cylinder, and at idle, the temperature wasn't enough to completely burn the coolant. But when it was moving, everything was fine.
