I love the sound of it. It's low and quiet at idle but has a mellow tone when under load.

I could still benefit from using your pacesetter. It would be something extra for this comparo. If everything works out, I'll be able to do one a week with no issue. This one is the problem though.
Cool, let me know, I can help out if need be. Mine is heat wrapped if that makes any difference.

gotta love TVS whine... car sounds sweet man!

Love or hate the JBP I dont care, but why is everyone making out like the JBP is the problem with the car here???? "This one is the problem here."
The meth f'ed up, no biggie, fix the problem and go for it. The header had nothing to do with the problem. Looking forward to some results.

That was like 2 years ago, when all the lsj had for mods were basic stage kits and the lnf was "never gonna happen!" LMAO!
I doubt I am the fastest anymore but I ran into an RME member about a month ago and talked him into going to the track with me and rice boy. He had a black LNF and sadly, wasn't running to good.
Whats new man?!

Sorry, Back to the thread:

I vote you don't show numbers that aren't accurate due to other issues. This forum is full of people who would take these numbers to mean something, which all they show is your Meth is on Crack! Lol

Keep up the good work! Can't wait for results!

We'll just have to wait and see. I honestly don't expect much different results from the first attempt, (minus the meth prob.)

wow thats pretty good. im getting 20psi with a 2.8 and 2.5in downpipe... im hopping to drop to 17-18 with a 3in downpipe and then drop pulley down to 2.6

don't get too crazy with things, you don't want to start breaking things. take it slow. The pulleys don't cost that much. I'd rather pay 50 bucks for a slightly smaller pulley, than 3 grand in parts for the engine...

It would make more sense to you if you saw it in person. This is one of those cases where the pictures really don't do it justice. The main problem with the header is the fact that there are too many sharp bends in each primary. The exhaust gases aren't able to get out as fast as they are forced into the header, and that's going to put more backpressure on the engine, instead of helping to relieve that. They might as well have made the primaries smaller and just created a real shorty.

I've found out what the issue with the meth was, and new parts are on the way. I'm looking at early next week for the retest.

go ahead. If you want to then that's fine. Just remember that my build is most likely a lot different than yours. The only thing I ask is that you have some proof of your testing (dyno sheet).

still you can show what your results were. The header (stock vs. jbp) is the only variable here. I would assume you have a gain against the stock parts. However I am curious to see whether their claim of 31 hp was realized in your dyno testing. Even with the slp catback, it should still be somewhere around that.

not surprising. They didn't bother to tell you that your mods should be at a certain level to even be able to use the dp and catback like they are meant to be. Your exhaust flow is just too much right now. if you don't have any other mods and just a stock tune, then I would consider you lucky that it was only 4 hp. I gotta get some sleep, but check in tomorrow so we can talk some more. Thanks for being honest though.

Nah. As many have said, we can't have this turn into a vendor bashing thread, regardless. We can just wait for the testing to show what a product is really worth.
