Enthusiasts and vendors alike... header testing inside!
got anyone with a zzp yet? if not we can schedule something for a weekend. id be willing to come down and we can rip it off my car. get the numbers and put it back on. assuming you have time on weekends
That just shows the importance of what's being done.

its a zzp midlength with a 2.5 downpipe... i might actually have a 3in downpipe also by the time i go down.
ive got family in southern md so id go down and see them for a while when i do go... its only like 8-10 hour drive. both ways. so it could be a fun road trip.
i cant do it for about 2-3 weekends but ill keep you posted in pm's

It doesn't matter what size dp you have when you get here. In any case, is it a regular flange? If so, then a 3" dp is available.
I have some friends that stay in silver spring, md. Haven't been up there in a while.
Let me know when you'll have the time.

might want to go ahead and send your pacesetter if it has the 1 3/4" primaries. Mine has 1.5" primaries. I'd like to see the difference.
Good news. Joe is back today, and monday we are going to double check for knock and then hit the dyno. One thing we are contemplating is evaluating how much more timing the header will allow for. Not something for max timing, but lets say for the pacesetter and clear image, where we have two different setups for the same header. More of a differential evaluation.
After the vibrant is dynoed, I plan to install the clear image header on Wednesday, and get it on the dyno by saturday if not sooner. this way, the thread will not drag on for another six months.lol

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to strap one of those on my car yet. If anyone is willing to send me one then I'll get it setup and strap it on the dyno for some numbers.
I'm trying man, thanks.
By the way, the vibrant dyno was done today, and it didn't disappoint. I'm waiting for Joe to send me the data from today's runs so I can run a compare between it and the stock header on the dynojet software. Hopefully I'll be able to upload things tonight.

stu, i PMed u about some parts.
DS, i purchased that pacesetter header from cobaltguy889, since ive got the V2 header, and now the pacesetter, which one would you like first? willing to send out both, just one at a time.
the pacesetter header is already set up for a 3bolt 3" DP

Glad to hear. Can't wait for the comparison. I've been loving my vibrant setup and it's good to know that it is a quality header, not just a good sound.
Okay, okay..., sorry to leave you hanging like that. I need to get sleep too!
Anyways, the vibrant performance header put it's best numbers down on the second run.
302whp/235wtq was the shakedown. The vibrant stayed pretty much even with the stock header until around 4500 rpm. That's when the stock header started to pull away.
The pulls on the dyno actually went really quick. The run that I have on camera I'll post tomorrow after I get off work. But the vibrant worked well on my car. The downpipe was a little too small to really muscle out power up top. This header is a guaranteed hit for vehicles working in a mildly modified state. It also sounds great for those that care about sound.
Like I said before, the only problem is that ******* rear O2 sensor being so close to the catback connection. Other than that, I would recommend this header/dp combination to anyone that looking to get some power out of their setup but not go crazy with things. I'm actually kinda sad to be taking this off tomorrow. But the tests must continue.

I don't think it's too small, I think it's the design. Just wait to test my "small poor man's" pacesetter. 1.5" primaries and only a 2.5" collector and downpipe. I'll put money down it blows the stock header away.
