It is impossible to tell. Did you fill the tank all the way? Sometimes the gas pumps will shut off early and you could have a gallon (3 or 4 litres) less than usual. The only way to really tell if fuel mileage is getting worse is to start logging your distance and how much fuel you put in the car when you fill up and start to calculate fuel mileage yourself. If you keep track and do see an actual mileage drop then it is time to do some tune up maintenance, i.e. plugs and fuel filter.

Check the air pressure in your tires.

My fuel mileage was getting crappy at one point, and I found the air pressure in my tires to be 1-2lbs below the recommended level. I brought my tires back up to 32lbs each, and my fuel mileage went back to normal.

my average when i use the same fuel stationsaround 38 highway and about 18-24 city, im tuned lean on the cruising side. and a little richer in city for cooler combustion.

I own a 2006 ss sc. built motors and so forth.

What he said, I noticed a big difference when I forgot to pump my tires back up after I left the track. I run mine pretty high though.

If you are a sc car, check your IC pump. because if it is not working your mpg will go down since you are running warmer iat2z.
