it is not a bleed problem...we bled the system better than gm recommends...it is a design problem

I don't seem to be having these problems, but I've never taken it to a track either. I definently don't have the issues Dan is describing.

The not being able to speedshift and grinding...most likely since it seems the stock system is inadequate to actuate an upgraded clutch

I left my stock slave cyliner in so it eliminates that.

For you guys that don't think you have a problem, try this, first put the into 1st or 2nd gear with the clutch depressed and rev the motot to 6K + and see if it tries to move at all.

Then go out and rev to 7K rpm and shift so fast that your hand is a blur! I mean beat on it. Then tell me if you shift perfect into 2nd everytime w/o a problem. I bet million bucks you'll have a problem.

So are you saying "don't change the slave cylinder?"

I had the 1-2 problem with the stock clutch near 7K the other day, wouldn't go into second w/o the rpm dropping below 6K, just glad i didn't release the clutch or it would have been messy. This was the first time i really ran out 1st gear in the car.

Changed my mind... I'm just going to sell the clutch for now, I have other things I need more. Anyone interested in a CM FX400 Clutch, UNUSED, still in the original package, unscathed... PM Me. Asking is $500, but if you have any better offers I'll go with them.
