Hey, I will be installing new pulley, injectors, and maf-t this weekend. I just wanted to see what everyone's experience was using the maf-t to tune the car. I've talked to intense-racing about what settings to use. With a 2.85" pulley and 42.5lb/hr injectors, they told me to set the maf-t to C 1. Unfortunately I do not have a wideband, or well, any other method to monitor A/F right now. So I just wanted to see what other people's experiences were with using the maf-t on their ss s/c's.
I ran into this same issue without having a Wideband... I ended up getting a couple of CEL's and throwing my car into limp mode before I just gave up and set it to E-3. I'd like to do more tuning but a wideband is definately needed for me.
I'm also running on a 2.6" pulley and 42.5lb/hr Injectors.

i finally got everything installed (2.85" pulley, 42.5 injectors, bkr7e plugs, and maf-t). the plugs are gapped at .35 and maf-t set to C 1. I also have an Injen CAI. the car pulls strong, but in the lower rpm range it seems to almost bog a little bit and runs kind of sluggish. i was wondering if anyone has a similar setup and has any advice. do i need to check the plug gaps? or should i adjust the base setting on the maf-t?

Well you should listen to Bad GTP and definitely go with the base settings if you don't have a wideband tuning device. I suggest rather a professional tune (INTENSE / HPTuners software) or at minimum an Aeroforce gauge so you can see how its running using the base settings Bad GTP talks about.

you live near the same elevation as me soooo i have a 2.85 from zzp and injectors
and im running on off off off c-1 OR c-2 it depends on the weather because of how rich the car wants to run
and im 2 steps colder with my plugs

i dynoed 272whp and 256wheel tq on the setup i listed...tho it was a simulated dynojet run
Trust me it works The more gap u can run without blowout the more complete combustion u get for more power...basic engine theory...i said the same thing about too big until i tried it and it ran great.
