I've heard it's not that great...are you looking to stay warrantied or just figured it'd be a better part for the car?

I have the GMP manifold installed. Its not much of a gain but is well worth the gain and keeping warnity. I would say its good for a all GMP cobalt. I have no problems running mid 13s all day long. Trapped at 108 so the GMP manifold must not be to restrictive.

well i got my car last year, put hardly any KMS on it. its around 8500..
so i want to keep my warranty for now.

i want to max out the mods to make it go fast but still remain under warranty.

so far i have.
stage 2
injen intake
gmpp sport exhaust
ingalls
projectors with hids

so right now im pretty safe as far as warranty goes, i can stip off the ingalls if i have to when i need to take it in.

i was thinking maybe getting stage 3, but in my area the highest octane i can get is 94 from sunoco. so im not sure if its worth having stage 3

GM's stage 3 is a complete waste!

My mods for my 262 run:
2.85
Methanol Injection
GMPP Manifold (custom ported further)
ZZP Downpipe with cat
2.5" Magnaflow Catback
K&N Intake
Custom tune from Area47

i disagree, i think the cooling part of the stage 3 is a benefit.

What cooling mod... the dual pass! It's a joke! I've seen a full GM stage 3 car dyno!

The dual pass from the stage 3 isnt a joke. Its got proven IAT2 drops.

As a whole though GM Stage 3 is disappointing without the Nitrous part, But the dual pass in conjuction with a cobra heat exchanger is great for cooling, add meth for the ultimate chilling effect....not to mention the gains from bumping the timing

All of the cars I have seen with the dual pass, saw little to no drop in IATs the full Stage 3 car actually was hotter than I was! And at the time I had NO cooling mods (obviously prior to methanol)!

I installed the gmpp manifold. I'll put it this way, I'm glad i bought it used and only spent $150.

It's not worth the time or money to buy a new gmpp manifold, especially if you are going beyond stage 2. I also have a ZZP downpipe. it is awesome. Really makes me wish i went with the zzp header.

the volume of flow is greatly reduced with the dual pass.

hey dude. My warranty is in tact
depends on your dealer.

like i said, there are other pieces that yeild more power, but the gmpp manifold is pretty decent, fits perfect, holds warranty and gives you a lil more pep.

like i said, with my setup, i have no complaints, im far from stock and i get compliments on how good my car sounds.

for the dual pass, we proved it to work.
i have another guy here in the gta, same pulley (2.7) and generally the same boltons.

i cooled down much faster and operating iat2 temps were about 10-12 degrees cooler.
idle temps were about 5-10 degress cooler.

figured this out on the way to the track.
also at wot on similar conditions my iat2s were about 15 degrees cooler than him give or take.
