91 or higher is premium. As long as you run 91 you will make full power. Some say running higher makes more power, but I have never tried. I know I have seen a car magazine take cars that recommend 91, and ran 87 (M3, Corvete, etc.). There was very little difference. Same went for cars that ran regular, then put in 91. They did run several gas tanks through each to make sure the results were genuine.

If you ran 100 vs. 91 you may notice a difference, but otherwise I dont think 91 vs. 93 is going to be noticeable.

We have 93 in our area. We used to even have 94...I think some Sunoco stations still have 94 but none in our area.

weve got 87 ,89, 93,94 .only sunoco has the 94. try to mainly use the 93,94 but thats up to 3.53 a gallon. ive also used the 89 with no noticeable changes.the manual suggests premium but when i bought the car the selling point was a supercharged car that didnt require premium gas. go figure, the manual must be printed by the gas industry.

I guess it depends what you call premium. If 91 counts as premium then you got it all wrong, the manual is printed by GM and in it they recommend 91 or higher. You can run any grade octane you want, but GM reccomends 91 or higher and with the stage kits they require no less then 91. If you can get 94 in your area then I guess 91 would be mid-grade!
