Lifters are the same on both the intake and exhaust sides, also the same lifters in the HFV6, I.e. The CTS-Vsport engine, etc.

So if I were to throw the cams back in, would it be worth it to get a set of these instead of my stock ones?

From the sounds of it they will both compress under high boost/spring pressure, but the new ones have less chance of failing/breaking due to a stronger overall assembly.

Not trying to argue, but I thought you didn't have the latest lifters, at least that was the impression you gave me in the other thread.

Side note, I imagine later exhaust cam timing would help them from collapsing, but I wonder if that would hurt performance worse than the lifters collapsing.

Another side note, anyone know if sr20 motors have the same issues? Their lifters look similar to ours, just bigger.

FWIW, I bet these lifters would be just fine for 85% of the people on the board.

One interesting note, at least to me, the dyno graph shows the dip but looks as if it recovers shortly after. I am judging this by the spread between the 2 runs. If that's the case, then how would a collapsed lifter recover? It shouldn't, and maybe all I am seeing is the power rising and it should be the amount it dips higher than it is from that 5200ishrpm point.

they will to a point then recollapse thats where the second dip comes in but a hyd setup would be good for most people

I don't think that's lifters collapsing. I would try closing the plug gap or adding some dwell. It could also be fuel related but I don't know how your nitrous is setup.

What cams were you running on that dyno? Factory? Your custom specs?

Not to give away your setup but could you tell me here or through pm me cam specs? At least just your exhaust cam timing. Just collecting data.

note sure if these will even fit but just came across something and ill throw it out there for you guys to look into or shoot down lol

ZZP has "high rpm lifters" for the LTG motors. They come with the ATS cams that they sell.

---- its in the description here, not sure if they fit the LSJ or LNF though.
