GM I/C pump

I am a pontiac grand prix owner that is planning on intercooling. I have pieced together everything so far. I have on problem- I bought the cobalt water/Intercooler pump from Gmpartsdirect, and see that it has 2 mounting "studs". Question is, where does this go? Is there some kind of bracket or something I need to buy with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is the pump

and these are the studs I am referring to:

it fits in the factory mount under the intake manifold on the lsj.

is this a part that that I can use on my car? or is there a spot on the LSJ that is pre-drilled to accept this?

You will have to fabricate it somewhere, that mount is pretty proprietary to the lsj setup

you can get the mount bracket for about $40 at Gmpartcheap.com i believe, i still have mine, but don't want to sell it if i were to ever go back to the stock pump. Otherwise, my aftermarket one is mount to the frame in front of the engine. Made an aluminum bracket then strapped it on with 3 worm clamps and put some silicon padding inbetween the metal parts, very easy.

^^Which aftermarket pump did you go with? Bosch?

And how do you like it? Aside from mounting is it plug N play?

yeah, its a Jabsco 50830 12v low pressure centrifugal pump, about 2-3 times the flowrate of the stock pump.

pump description

it seems to work great, just hook it into the 12v wiring for the old pump and find a mounting point.
