Sounds like a solid plan. These cars are fun to work on, at least when you are doing it because you want to, not because you have to

Haha, good point!

I had all intensions of just throwing the car cover on her this winter.

Slight change of plans, lol.

Parts list:

Cylinder Head Gasket 2.0 LSJ 55352039
Ecotec Head Bolt 90537691
Ecotec Head Bolt 24407225
ARP Ecotec Timing Chain Tensioner Bolt Set 11588522R
Ecotec Timing Chain Tensioner 12608580
Loctite 510 Flange Sealant
Loctite 277 Tread Locker
CMD #3 Extreme Pressure Lube
Kent Moore J-43649 Valve Spring Compressor

^Updated in 1st post as well.

ARP head studs are not in the budget.

My car will only be pushing 15 psi (about 16 psi currently) more than likely, so the stock head bolts should be more than fine.

I dont, lol.

I'm running a straight GMR S3 calibration. Maybe after all is said & done, I will have the tune tweaked a bit.

Have you noticed a change in your afr or any knock as you've bolted things on over the years?

AFR leaned out a tad after the cams, but I have zero knock.

I'll let you know once I remove it from the car.

I may sell it with brand new stock cams & valve springs that will be removed from the GMR head. I'll keep you posted man.

Yep, all this with 42's. Injector pw's are high no doubt, but no problems in the 6 years they've been installed.

Time attack ran the gmpp 42's and reved out to 8k. Of course on a slightly modified fueling system, but I've had no issues with my current setup.

Remember, I don't run a redic small pulley. Just the good ol GMR S3 2.992" pulley. The build book engine, which is my engine almost to the exact spec (minus the 10:1 compression ratio), ran everything I have on a GMR S3 PCM with more aggressive cams.

No need with the H62. Makes very good power with the S3 pulley.

I'm not going outside of my GMR/GMPP build. I want to keep her in spec with what I've been working to build over the course of a few years.

If I was going to run race gas 100% of the time, I would step up and purchase 10:1 pistons, but this is still a daily driven car (nice weather of course).

Nice!!

I have the jumper wires. Was going to install nitrous this winter, but the GMR head took over that build, haha.
