so here lately i have been having a annoying exhaust rattle. so today i dedicated some time to get under there and see what the problem is. i pulled off the dp to check the cat, and it seemed to be fine. started the car again, and still herd it. i went through and made sure all the exhaust clamps, bolts, and hangers, where tight and in place. i started it again, and had my g/f rev the car a little to make the sound more pronounced... studying it more i got my ear really close to the front section of the resonator, and noticed that where the rattle was coming from. Now I'm thinking that maybe a baffle in the resonator came lose and is rattling... has anyone had this issue before? and i was wondering what the warranty was on the exhaust system. i purchased it from crate engine.... any help is appreciated.

 

are you sure it's not rattling the heat shield? that's an EXTREMELY common issue, where the exhaust rattles the sheild.

 

cut it off. my stock one broke in the same area

 

yeah man i was under there pulling on the heat sheild moving it into different spots, and it did not seem to help

well i would cut it off, but i really dont feel like dumping money into it if i dont have to.
