Yes I know how an ac system works. But your just not gonna loose that much power and the car is designed to disengage the clutch at wot so this is a pointless argument no point to disable the ac

260-270 with HOM
GMS3 is rated at 246, 260 in hom. Remember, that's rated and nine out of ten times it'll be less.

248 hp 93 octane

260 hp 100 octane

Pyros777 dyno'd his GMS3 car back in the day with nothing more than an intake and put down 243 whp 220 ish wtq. Pretty damn close to the rated power output.

Another member put down 268 whp while in H.O.M.

GMS3 is on another level from GMS2. Don't get it confused with making less power & being a crappy GM tune. It runs leaner, and is a much more refined tune. It was created with the help of the Time Attack Cobalt, lsj land speed cars, and GM Racing in general.

Im sick of u guys with HPTuners thinkin if it ain't custom it ain't right. I'm gonna eventually race a custom tune cobalt with 2.7 60's to see who does better. BTW i have more than wat the GMS3 kit requires so i should put more than enough numbers.

Do you remember the timing advance you logged?? While in H.O.M., I see upwards of 26* of timing at W.O.T. from 6,000-7000rpm.
I will have to see if i still have them. Sure felt better in HOM mode.

thank you troyss. It's basic mechanical knowledge. Next he'll tell me it doesnt take Horsepower to turn the blower to make MORE horsepower. lol

Im trying to figure out why my rev limiter won't stay at 7250 when the car is off and ignition on. How do u SET it? Do i start the car when it's at the Rev limit I want?

Or is there a button u press to save the rev limiter? It doesn't explain it in the manual

Figured it out! gotta hold the throttle to the increment I want it to be at at least for a good 10-20secs
