Correction;

2.99212598 inches

But you typically would just round that to 3.

Accurate ******* is accurate.

Anything after the 3rd decimal place is "usually" irrelevant to accuracy, sooo my number is correct I'm an engineer, I can't help being **** with numbers. It's much easier to just say 76mm and avoid the is it a 2.99" or is it a 3.00" pulley .... haha

That depends on what you're machining that makes it irrelevant. Could be extremely relevant in this case.

But lets not get off topic.

Stage 3 FTW.

that would depend on your parts and tune. if you are on stage 3 but then wen to a 2.9" pulley then yes more power/boost. So you need to elaborate on your question.

What he said.

Keep in mind, you'd be running 42s# injectors. Which although is safe IF YOU GET A GOOD TUNE, it is not recommended. Guy who runs Slick Motorsports around here told me that if you were to go below 3in pulley, you need to run 60# injectors, with a good tune.

This is correct especially if you are running the GM Stage 3 tune, because it runs fairly lean (11.4 AFR). It's best to stick with the 76mm GM Stage pulley if you are going to run the GM Stage 3 PCM.

i agree .... opt b has done wonders on my setup. The constant bleeding of the intercooler system, and slightly increased coolant capcity has really kept my IAT2's low

I keep bugging rallyracer to get a gm stage 3 or option b. I also keep my eyes open for a cheap SC/SS to build up. Nothing like that whine

Time for the obligatory Trifecta S3 mention:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/gm-stage-3-trifecta-204466/

Trifecta Performance can tune the GM S3 calibration now, and is hard at work at unlocking the A/C. See above link for details.

Would make a large number of people less reluctant to upgrade to GMS3.
