Help- Cranking Issue
Alright, So my car does this crazy **** time and time again, Where I'll go to crank it and it just turns over, and turns over. (Granted, It doesnt do this every time I get in my car, but maybe once or twice outta ten times). But when it does do it, its a pain in the ass, It usually takes three times at the least to get it to finally fire. But today, It physically took 10 times of turning the car over before it crunk.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

Well, I my plugs have 14K miles on them. I've actually pulled them out within the last month just to check, and see if I should buy new ones. But they looked immaculate. Still looked brand new, the tips weren't all burnt or anything.
But I may just buy some new ones anyways to try it. Its just strange how random these cranking issues occur.

Alright, Will def..check those. Its almost like my injectors are clogged and its not spitting enough fuel out to crank. But once it does crank, everything's fine, car runs like a champ.

Alright, Well It did it again really bad yesterday morning, it just turned over and over for like 15 minutes. While is was turning over, sometimes it would make the squeeling noise (like when you try to crank a car when its already running), So I finally got it running, and it was spittin and sputtering kinda, so i took off up the road, and check engine light comes on, car felt weak...so i pulled over, let it sit for a minute then,....fired right up, ran like a champ for the rest of the day....CEL was coming off and on, but after I restarted the car, I havent seen it since?????

what was the CEL code that popped before?
Does it smell rich once it starts running?
If it smells rich, it's a spark issue. If it doesn't, I'm guessing it's a fuel issue.

The oxygen sensor is temp disconnected. Header install was great but the O2 Sensor wires were just a hair short. So I can understand that.
How difficult is the swapping of Cranshaft Position Sensors?

o2 sensors are throwing a code cuz ur crankshaft sensor timing could be a bit off and mixture could be off alitle. when driving to this place did u experience any misfires/hesitation? id change the ckp sensor b4 anything else and see from there. Goodluck my man
obviously inspect wiring b4 swapping parts...i usually jsut swap parts cuz I do it for a living and well to be quite honest...i dont pay when im wrong customers do :P lol

haha, I hear ya, I mean I'm pretty mechanically inclined, and actually race 4 cyl mustangs. But all these new high computer-ized cars now days. But like i said, the O2 sensor behind my cat is Not hooked up at all, it was too short to reach back to the plug. So i just left it unhooked, and i drove the car for like three weeks after the header install and never threw a CEL. But this cranking **** has been an off on thing for the last few months. The last time that the car did this, it was real jerky, weak, misfiring, putting along. This time when the light was on, it just drove the same, maybe lack of power, but didnt feel all that bad.

So, I've ordered the sensor about a week ago, Still hasn't arrived, but now my car like won't crank the first time, but fires up the second time with this crazy ass idle, and then i can physically turn the key off and be standing outside of my car and it will still be running? WTF
