Upon further inspection. I found that the previous own had an AEM cold air kit installed on it. Big ass filter with a bag thingy over it.

you know you can repair those for 12 bucks or less and about 20 min of your time and not even pulling the motor out..... if you were local I'd show you how... so frign easy to do..

just saying....

these electric motors will go out just about every 20-50k due to the brushes. I am actually contemplating taking mine out all together and drilling holes in the sides so i can make it super easy to change the brushes out. just like a cutter/grinder has.

I'll rebuild the old one and use it as a spare for the next time.

Question for OP....who is tuning you? I hope it isn't local.....even trifecta would be better than local tuners lol. As for your temps...they are riding pretty high. When I was sc I would be about 5-15 degrees above ambient. Wouldn't go above 135 during a pull. And yes temps are similar for those wondering lol. His city is like 5 mins away from me. 2.9 pulley

Ok replaced the pump yesterday. Went a lot easier then I thought! Only took an hr and even then I was loffing about at times. I got out as much air from the system as I could which was a lot more then I thought.

Note to everyone doing this. From past vehicles I had the cable operated hose clamp removal tool from craftsman. This tool saved an extreme amount time and not only paid for itself over and over again but probably made this repaire safer as I could easily keep my face away from where the coolant was going to come out. No pliers and cursing at all.

Also! I fooled around a little bit with the pumps after I got the old one out. I found that the old pump was a lot quieter than the new pump.

I would like to thank eBay for once again saving me a ton of green backs.
