Most dyno machines do not even report under 3500 unless its a Mustang type dyno which I can see doing steady pulls at various cruise rpms in the 2-3500 range checking part throttle readings and such but a regular dyno measuring full throttle runs doing anything under 3500 just aint gonna happen by any experienced operator. They should stop the run when redline is hit and not before OR when afr is dangerously lean. Most cars that redline at 7K with stage 2 arent making the hp up there so the dyno operator will stop it sooner when he sees peak hp dropping off.
We will have our Balt on the dyno this Friday checking AFR's and IDC's and will post the graphs and see where the operator starts and stops but I can bet ya it wont be anything under 3500.
We have a EC997a eddy current Mustang dynamometerdyno 2 blocks from our house we have used for more precise and accurate numbers vs the more common dyno people get their bragging numbers from. We will be using the regular dyno this Friday as we are only wanting AFR and IDC readings and dont really care about whp numbers at this time.
People just wanting whp numbers for bragging rights dont like Mustang dyno numbers because they are anywhere from 10-18% less than a dynojet number.
Here is my sons 06 R1 on the Mustang EC997a eddy current dynamometer being tuned for 9-10K cruising rpms and then on to full throttle 16K runs which arent in this video. This is a street bike that runs 9.40's.

Yes and that is what most Cobalts are is daily street driven vehicles, but your gonna be hard pressed to find any dyno that reports under 3500 even for street cars stock or otherwise.

Because I'm good like that!
Full dyno numbers will come soon, and the videos will hit first for sure. I need to find a cooler day to run on the dyno though because it's been over 100* everday this week here with like a 100% humidity! I think it was 105+ today, and with the heat index it was over 115*!

how much boost are you going to see with this thing?? Does boost build sooner with the twinscrew??

281whp on a bone stock car, with 2k5's mods he should see some really good numbers, even more so with a ported head.

its was 281 at 5800 rpms and 20psi then i would assume maybe a little more whp if they would have spun it to 7k and a few more psi. I hope with his mods he will see 300whp on a mustang dyno. that is what i believe he will be dynoing with

If all you care about is 3500+ I don't know why a turbo wouldn't give more power without the parasitic losses of a supercharger?
I am interested in this kit because it should increase low/mid power, as well as the top end. I guess we will just have to wait until someone puts one of these on an engine dyno.
