I guess you just can't read. Where did we say we cared about off idle horsepower numbers? We want to see what kind of TORQUE it makes.

I don't think he'll even dyno that low but what if the TS and a 2.8" had the same torque numbers till 3000rpm. You'd actually pay 3K for more power from 3000-7000rpm? There's much more and cheaper alternatives to making more top end horsepower. Namely a nice 50 shot. You'd make 300+ horsepower and pounds of torque. Torque > Horsepower

so your telling me from a line if u actually are looking for power u let it idle?!?! you need to delete your account right now if so.

you DONT NEED torque from 850 -1500 rpms thats just USELESS and knocking a far superiour product on the notion is may not produce ur idle torque, well u sir, need help.

as for nos, not everyone wants to get it, if we all did why the fack would anyone buy gmst2 ??? just get a 50 shot, its basically the same price, your argument are as chilidish as yourself.

oh and torque isnt > then horsepower they work in conjunction, when was the last time u shifted at 4500 rpm at the track? really.

Two words of advice for you. Sentence construction.

So we don't need torque? Take two exact cars except one has 50 more pounds of torque. Take a guess which one would be faster. Low end torque is what gets us out of the hole.

the HOLE ISNT AT 900 rpm noob.

even people who use low rpms start at 1500.

you truly must have a air box mod and a driver mod to speak with huh.

as for sentence structure, im at work, and multitasking, so if i make a mistake here or there, big deal, fact remains, his car would romp yours any day of the week

as for the twinscrew, its hands over feet better then the m62, no one can deny it, simply look at airflow charts and ull get the "drift". Now assumptions on power are hard to estimate, i think with his mods 300-320 is possible.

As for 1000-1500 rpm torque, who the **** cares, when do u EVER launch at anything lower then 1500 as it is, why would u, honestly. The supercharger is essence of design is still the same, its ability to create for airflow and pressure easier has changed. Give up the whole im gonna bash this new product gig, especially those who dont want power or have "air box mod" and " driver mod 3.1234343" as ur only mods in your signature.

At the end of the day, his car is faster then basically ever cobalt on this site, besides some extremely modified m62's and the few turbos running around no one can touch him. I bow to rebel for finishing something that tag couldnt (LEWL) and the reception ur giving this company who has spent much money and hours finishing development on something that 6 months ago YOU ALL WANTED is pathetic. Bunch of snivelling babies. Even if this kit only lays out 280 whp, thats 75 over stock. well worth it. plus ur cars longevity is increased with a cooler more efficient power source.

image OUT
280whp - 220whp = 60whp.

If you please also install me a fuel cut-off at 905 rpm then i could use the 2 extra rpms on the highway in case i have to road race ... oh excuse me for highjacking the thread.

serioulsly though dude, what are you trying to prove here?

and as for the nitrous argument, that is just stupid, we cannot run w/ nitrous on the street, and if you think about the fact that its 50 bucks a pop to fill it up you will be over the price of the ts in less than a year. the ts is much more efficient than the heaton anyday, so why wouldnt you want ~100 horses while running cooler. not everyone on this site wants to go turbo!

Good Luck with the install man, can't wait to hear your review!

Sorry to see your thread go to ****. I just try and filter out the forum babies.

I'll be ordering a kit next week, I can't wait! I commend Rebel for making this kit and supporting our cars at all. I'd also like to thank you 2K5SS?, for working out the final tune. Even though there is a lot of complaining going on, there are people out there who really appreciate what you guys are doing!

My prediction is, once theres a nice dyno sheet, you'll have a bunch of Rebel kiss ass twinscrew rock threads. Its the nature of the forum flock. I just hope the way people are acting, doesn't discourage further vendor support for our community. Something to think about before you start bashing vendors!

its nice to see im not alone in wanting this to be simply about an awesome product on a good engine, and a lucky guy who owns it, thats it.

the redline guys talk alot of smack about this forum, and its funny with guys like alpha jaguar thinking his 2.7" and gmst 2 was 320 at the wheels becayse his mustang dyno shower 237 ROFL. Anyways, enough aside, this is a nice step for the lsj community, and again i bow to rebel for finishing it for us.

and before some rlf noob comes in here trying to correct me, im talking about an old thread when he got his pistons done, his new numbers are slightly more realistic

Yeah man, the more I read about this set up the more I want it. Since it is very similar to the stock setup, just with less drag on the engine and cooler intake temps, you are just straight up making the engine work better. I think its a great set up, and I seriously cant wait to see the results. I will be getting this myself in 6~12 months probably (maybe a christmas present though )

Right on Rebel!!!

Update on today's progress!
I took my wideband out of my Integra and hooked it back up into the Cobalt again so I won't have to worry about that tomorrow. I took care of some other little minor things that needed attention as well such as the putting on the little sensors etc.

As soon as I get home from work tomorrow with the gasket, it'll all get bolted up probably in about an hours time. If I can find a tap, I'll place my methanol jet in the adapter plate to spray it after the blower instead of before. I'll have to fill/bleed the intercooler setup which is easy now do to a special mod I did, and then it's onto to modifying the tune a bit since I don't have a cat. Then it'll be playtime! Yeah! I will try for a dyno Saturday time and weather permitting.

For those who asked about my tranny, unfortunately it's another stock one for now. I think I figured out a couple things that may have caused the breakages and fixed them. We'll just have to wait and see how it holds up this time. If something was to happen, I did find someone who is willing to build a stronger tranny for me.

About all the arguing about dyno from here to here, and nitrous is better, etc. is starting to **** me off personally. This thread was made to show that I have the twinscrew here, and that it should be running on the car, gasket pending, tomorrow evening. I work hard all day long as I'm in the Air Force. In most of my free time I've been busting my ass to not only make sure I could pay for kit, but supply everyone with good cold hard facts about the kit that we've all spent so much time and money invested in. Please leave the all the bickering, bad mouthing, and bitching out of this thread. Thank you.
