I found the problem finally! It was a combination between my stupidity and the instructions lacking a minute detail. The instructions will be fixed so nobody else runs into this issue.

So you guys really want my opinion now?

HOW THE HELL DOES 22+ PSI SOUND TO YOU? IT FELT FREAKING AWESOME TO ME AS I HAD TO HANG ONTO THE STEERING WHEEL TO KEEP CONTROL OF THE BEAST! MY STOCK BOOST GAUGE WENT PAST 20PSI, PAST THE AUTOMETER LOGO, AND PAST THE PSI LOGO! ALL THIS AND I'M STILL RUNNING RICH AT 10.0-10.7 A/F RATIO! DID I MENTION THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE IS 100* AS WELL! DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY GENTS. IT PULLED SO HARD I WOULD HAVE BLOWN THE DOORS OFF MY OLD SETUP WITH THE 2.6" PULLEY EVEN UNTUNED!

I may have missed a couple small things too.

We all know boost don't mean anything against airflow. I've seen Eatons hit 22+psi.

When do you plan on hitting up the dyno and track? I didn't know if Rebel plans on helping out with the dyno.

Congrats tho.

I am glad you got it all figured out. A bunch of the guys will likely make their decision to buy, based on your ressults.
I look forward to hearing about your dyno results.

he didnt say "what is that" he said why. i think because area has a sneaking suspicion the egt's are off the charts.

Wow,thats awsome bro.Kinda makes me wish i didnt buy all the pieces for my turbo swap. But im kinda skeptical about buying that s/c for my car.I had nothing but bad luck when i installed a vortech s/c for my z24.With my luck id run into the same problems all over again. But im glad you got it running good. You need to put up some new vids!!!

I want to personally thank Jmc007 for actually giving me the idea to take another look at the vacuum lines again. It was unclear in the instructions as what to do with the vacuum lines from the boost solenoid after you disconnect them. The intake manifold vacuum line goes straight to the bypass valve and the boost solenoid gets both lines taken off of it. Since the stock bypass has a vacuum line and a boost control solenoid line attached to it, and the new bypass only has one vacuum line spot the other line has to be removed. Basically the bypass wasn't working correctly, so there was no power to be had.

I don't think that 22+ psi is a bad thing because this blower operates at a lot cooler temperature, and the IAT2's are lower. It's not the boost/cfm's that is kills these cars, it's the heat.

Also, I had to disconnect my methanol as it was getting sucked into the manifold past the now faulty check valve. I can't wait to add that back into the mix and tune it all up. She's an animal for sure now. Videos should come tonight after I ship out my stock parts to a few individuals that have been very patient with me so far.

Area47, why do I need an EGT gauge? I have a wideband that is very accurate, so I'm not really seeing the point in the EGT since they essentially will tell me the same info, just in a different way.

just because you're a/f ratio looks fine at whatever you want it to be, and you're not showing knock at WOT. does not mean you're car is perfect. what some people have no clue about is how hot the cylinder temps are. i have seen way to many cars destroy themselves, and the owners look puzzled at the data logs. they look perfect. first words out of my mouth are "what were the egt's?"

THis is great. glad to see some real boost happening.

2 questions.

what are your IAT's?
This S/C has a bypass as well. so fuel efficiency can be maintained? (for those wondering I have a goal of 12's or better with 40mpg or better. currently getting 46mpg on the highway with tuning. pretty good eh. likely 13.5sec 1/4 too)
