good luck Billy!

looking at your logs your running about 40lb/min off the MAF, highest I've seen with the same maf calibration is 32lb/min with a 2.7" on the Eaton. That's appox. equates to 80HP.

Also on the dyno you might have to tweak your tune a bit as you won't have the same air flow which means different part of the maps followed. Just tweak it, make power and flash it back to your street tune.

Well considering the totally stock car put down 280whp without running all the way to redline, I'm thinking he would break 320whp on the same dyno. But since it is a mustang dyno he will be using, that will knock him back down a bit.

My official guess is ~300/275.

Good luck on the dyno....a twinscrewed cobalt with a lot of mods should be able to pick on a lot of street vehicles.

We want numbers/dynos/videos already!!!

If you don't mind me asking how much was this setup?

you'll never get out of it what you put into it....if you tried to trade it in or sell it back to a dealer they won't even understand that its not factory...and if they do...it will decrease the value..

So yeah, we should see some numbers tonight..... just so people know, I think it made around 281whp@5700RPM on the stock test car, only a CAI..... This guy has all the bolt ons, meth, etc, etc.....and will probally take it to 7000rpm.....
I will guess +330whp +290ft lbs

I still couldn't justify the cost of putting a different blower on the car unless I planned on keeping the car forever

Are the internals forged on these motors? I think so....if they are, a blower swap and like double the stock boost could be pretty damn fun and it'd be cheaper than building a whole new motor?

Forged crank and rods but not pistons.... A few have blown their motors but many will argue that these pistons can handle somewhere between 300-400hp depending on the power adder.... I believe the cause for most peoples probs were either bad tune or creating insane amounts of heat by overspining the Eaton..... Thats another great thing with this swap is the droped IAT.....even without meth.....

Ahhh I knew they had something on the inside, yeah if you overspin the blower you'll create crazy heat...thats a common problem with GTP's too....
