I am curious if you think I work for a vendor on here or something since I didn't see your retracted comments..

ALso are you in ColoRADo? I saw on your location listing USA CO so I am wondering.. if so we need local test vehicles and also do alot of local drag/scca/ shows locally that you should check out..also a bunch of car meets fri-sun in Denver...
no rob. i was mistaken... i assumed by reading over a couple of your comments that you were a regular member posing as an ingalls representative for reasons beyond me. =P ppl do that.

sincere appologies. i was going to remove my comments (all within this thread), but i figured a random "edit: nvm" would look dumb.

yeah, i live in Steamboat Springs. 3 hours out of denver (2 in my cobalt =P ) and i make trips up there a lot. i should be getting the ED on monday... looking forward to it after all the positive reviews. If you are in need of a test vehicle, or have any drag events, i am certainly interested.

no worries..i just thought it was funny..

you should come up to Denver for one of the car meets..

The local Sonic on 92 and federal had about 400+ cars there last nite....lots of fun..lots of cars..actually lots of cobalts...( i wouldn't recommend the chili dogs at sonic though)

email next time you are in Denver..or give me a call( number pm'd)

wensday nite drags and test and tunes at Bandi..
scca event at DIA today(over slept for that one)
cep3 meet on sun's at the denver skatepark

basically every weekend something is going on in the summer..

also we are looking into renting track time in the springs at PMR..100$ all day..interested.?

just a quick question.
If GM put this poly engine mount on the engine to allow the engine to flex . Is it really good for the engine internals to take this flex out with the Ingalls E.D? Just asking before I buy one.

well, you have to consider that GM has to keep the comfort and drivability of the car to a certain level. road tests would be saying the the cabin noise is too loud and the stiffness is too much for a stock vehicle if a torque dampner was applied.

i would say that the engine NOT flexing is better for the internals.

i installed mine tonight and love it. ..... best part i could have gotten for the price.

You are not stopping engine movent to the point where internals of the engine would be of any concern. The damper is used to help stop front to back movement of the motor. In no way would engine internals be a factor in this. And for all the guys wondering if they should go mounts or damper... think about the time and labor involved with motor mounts, what happens if they cause too much vibration for your application. The answer is you are stuck swaping out mounts for the old factory ones or buying all new ones if you destroyed your factory ones to put in the motor mount inserts. The Stiffy has ADJUSTIBILITY! You can use it set hard for the track and soft for the drive in with your lady.
