I have this problem too, I also had it in my 01 Neon and fixed it with new poly trans and engine mounts.

Now just gotta save up to get the mounts and a few other toys for the car.

A good tuner can tune this out. Even with an LS4 TB, TVS, and E85.

wondering if my jerky first gear has anything to do with mixing the zzp trans mounts with the ttr motor mount. ill put the stock motor mount on this weekend to see if this will cure my problem

i drove an 09 ss/tc last night, and it didnt have this problem. although it is probably because of the turbo lag and the fact that they dont have much on the low end.

It probably has nothing to do with the Turbo lag, since there isn't any on that motor (full boost near 2000rpm) and probably nothing to do with the lack of low end power (since it has the most out of any ecotec).

I does probably have to do with its 3.8x FDR instead of the LSJ's 4.0x FDR.

This is a problem with any FWD car I've driven, anytime I let off the gas in first I clutch in, if I need to get on the gas again, I slip the clutch again till its engaged, repeat this process as nessacary.

i thought i noticed a slight difference in the gearing. this is most likely the reason. it really did feel a little bit slower to pick up at low rpms than my sc though - probably also the gearing. both mine and the one i drove are both stock.
