Ok guys well i have my instense stage 4 up installed and running perfectly. But i am getting alot of Knock retard when its just idling and i tap the gas, but im not sure if its just b/c its adjusting to the rpms?


At idle, when you hit the gas even a little it jumps, but if you have it at around 1500 etc. and gun it nothing.... is it supposed to do this?

The numbers arnt constant it verys...

ideas? it runs fine, dont hear any knocking and there is no lag, thats what is leading me to believe everything is fine... and i just put 93 in i think 92 or 91 could have been in...

I have stage 2 GM lol

I have 0.0 KR almost all the time. I swear I floored it and shifted into third and still 0.0 KR. Every once in a great while I may see it move to 0.3 or 1.0 but it disapears immediately.

Do you have solid mounts or torque dampener or anything?

 

Ignore part throttle KR. Even if you get some at first when flooring it, as long as it doesn't consistantly go up or stay there, you're fine. When I first punch it, I might see a blip, but it goes away the rest of the blast.

 

Yeah this is why I asked about the mounts. I see some knock at low RPMs if I have the car in too high of a gear. I think part of it is my poly mounts.

 

so everyone who is seeing it is reading it by the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge? and what do u do if u keep getting it?

I get up to 5 degrees of KR above 4500rpms, it spikes then goes down then spike again up to 3 and by then I'm at redline.
