Exactly. He runs stock shafts at high rpm all the time. You running deletes is better for the motor. Although I couldn't stand my deletes so I put stock shafts back in when I did my 2nd motor. The vibes drove me nuts on the highway.

My car has stock balance shafts, powell s1 trans mount & SS/TC rear trans mount, and I get a nice bumpity bump from the idle of the cams in the cabin.

No bad vibes or rattles though.

that's bs just because you yield the bolt dose not make it bad or need replaced you should measure the length of the bolt and if the length is correct then the bolt is fine others have reused the main bolts with no ill effect also and some have reused the head bolts

running the stock shafts at high rpm is not a very good Idea to do it will eventually oblong the rear bearing and the engine oil pressure will start dropping and cause other engine damage

if you want to get rid of the vibes balance the engine it gets rid of it

I have heard of reusing head bolts, but I always buy new ones. Better safe then sorry. I haven't checked, but does ARP make bolts for the ecotec? RB, I am in the 100k club. I plan on checking my engine out, but if it looks fine, I will just build it.

Lol tjolley doesn't have a bolt on his engine that isn't arp. Pretty sure his valve cover bolts are too

They make bolts that work, sort of. You sstil need the sleeve for the bolt. Easiest to order from CED or mrb. Same thing

also in the build book they use some high strength bolts of some sort for the rods and main bolts. be wary for those who use the book for building, the torque specs are different from stock!!

Cool kids use aftermarket rods which come with arp's which torque to 55ftlbs which yolo
