nope. i was driving it everyday. the comm module went on it according to gm. i dont get a warning in the dash either which is weird. the only issue i have with my car is once and awhile the steering wheel controls will quit working. usually a cycle of the ignition fixes it
i like all my options the cobalt has. ive tried the whole daily a tin can and it doesnt work well. i went nuts with all the noises and drone from the exhaust. never again! i honestly dont know how the honda kids do it

Well just a small upate the car is now on their rack having the front cover removed and it is not expected to come off the rack until it runs. They want to check if the oil pump is working and honestly i feel like its a good course of action to check at this point.

Update
Car is going to GM to have new Theft Deterrent Module programmed. P.A.W. simply doesn't have the tool. No big deal minus the tow that i'll have to pay i guess. If it doesn't start there at GM... i might have to leave it there, but we'll see. P.A.W. is pretty adimate that this could very well be the issue, as they have finally gotten codes from it.

Well its been there for three days. So far they have LOT of hours in it and hasnt left their rack but thank heaven they are only charging me for 4 hours thus far!
As of now they are quite baffled... I just got off the phone with a mechanic there telling him all i knew and vice versa. He says the injectors seem to be spraying inconsistantly but the harness checks out with ohm readings and all. They also wanna throw the cm back in that the car originally went to pwerks with and possibly try the new injectors. Hes on the side that its wiring somewhere he brought up negative battery cables possibly from past experiences, theres splices on my engine harness he wants to look into etc. Not taking any credit from autowerks when i say this but its good to know a fresh set of eyes is on the car currently and gm just has more techs tools and time to dedicate to the car. So gameplan is they will figure out the cause get it started, then it goes back to autowerks for the rest. Lol.

Gentlemen, i have an announcement to make.
Over the last few months i have been assembling a 2.1L fully forged decked sleeved motor. Balanced to 14000 rpm, chromoly crank, head more hogged out than a pigpen, and a tvs 1900 on a 3.6" pulley. 3.5" exhaust with 2" primarys. 4" intake and gutted intercooled manifold. Despite all this on custom cams and solid lifters it will make around 40psi. I shall start it tomorrow and post vids. Stay tuned!
