little help guys!

Hey guys, just installed my Injen cai..... everything looks good. no air leaks as far as i can tell. took it for a ride and it runs good, boosts and vacs good. the only thing i noticed that may or may not be bad is, my mpgs are down to like 21 or so it used to be 29. My cousin installed it and hes a mechanic and he says the computer needs some time to adjust. Is that true? havent been really hard on the gas. just installed it about an hour ago. thanks guys for the input.Thats what the computer says anyways. should i be worried?

Just replied to your other but same post. Unhook the batt for 5min then hook it back up and drive. It resets the ecu.

I like the reseting the ECU option however a CAI shouldn't cost one 8 mpg..

maybe you are getting into the gas more.....

you JUST installed a CAI, and within an hour of driving your surprised that you got lower MPG...

your kidding right? lol

give it a week of driving EXACTLY like you did before you installed it.
and then see how it looks

its no big deal man.
everyones fuel mileage goes to **** after a CAI install
because like it or not, we all love that whine
and we drive heavy footed for a while.

it will settle down again once your right foot does
