those 4t65e's are very easy to rebuild. Good trans just gm messed a couple things up in them.

they start with the base of the 4t65e-hd from the ls4 world. gm pulled a retard move and made stronger parts on things that don't break. go figure.
bates engineering allready makes a bellhousing adapter for the 4t65, it's listed on there websight for parts for the L850. i'm pretty sure it will work for the lsj, may wanna contact them.

I'm not 100% worried about the trans, just keep seeing them pop so I'm just biding my time.
The wot box, well I'm in love with it lol. I usually only build @4 psi at 4k rpm on the 2-setp but that's more than enough to completely fry the tires. but it's the WOT shiting I love the most. Not losing boost btwn gears and not murdering the trans at the same time... well can't beat that,
As for AAA, I've had so many cars towed all over the place, plus a trip home from atco, I'm almost postive for gold members it's 3 tows of up to 125 miles last time I checked

I don't think he was talking about driving down the highway in third gear all day on the offchance something else with a turbo happens to pull next to you.

We also never got crankcase ventilation mod.

+1 I think Al prefers me driving than you because I <3 5th gear

Now at the track, that is a different story.

Yes it is, almost as much mess as blowing a rod through the side of a block.

Got to give the guy credit though, he never gave up

Exedy Hyper.... going in on saturday, I can't wait I refuse to drive my car if I can't use the power it has.

as for the problem, well, that's why I have to put a new clutch in the car lol. That poor stocker wouldn't give up though, still drive and I can go 1/2 throttle, but anything more and it's straight to redline.
