long road to ruin
That's the same reason I asked, and I doubt he spent less than 1K. I can see 1K wrapped up in just the gm stage 2, and then another 500-1K wrapped up in the nitrous, and then the other misc. parts.
Sounds like it would cost the same to me. But that's why I asked how much has he spent.

Depends upon other supporting mods. A completely stock car would prob see close to 35psi. Where as one like rods will prob see about 26 psi.

Well lets remember 2 things
1) this is my daily driver
2) my luck with modding cars
Having said that bit, I am not looking to push this car to the edge. I will have the other car for the insane power.
I will be happy with fast and mostly reliable (so far it hasn't been cheap
).
While I lose some with the CR, I gain back some with the built engine and TVS/smaller pulley.
I have already got all of the other supporting mods and I prefer to stay out of the transmission blowing power range, if at all possible.

With all the trouble I've been having with my idle (it was a tiny ass vac leak from my bpv. The hose was just small enough to stay on but wasn't small enough to fully seal) I never paid attention to the tune from the local shop when I was testing the car. I did some fine tuning today and realized I was at 11* timing..... So I bumped it up to 18* and the motor loves it! Torque steers like a bitch and scared my fiance a bit
Way to go with the TVS Bryan.

the bonus thing about this pulley size and cams is the low end lack of torque. less chance of spinning out of the hole at the track. middle of second and third. all bets are off
