LSJ Intake Manifold is the Problem....ARE YOU SURE?
I bought Area's cams... I know he had problems....
But I think I have a solution.
Worst case... the 272's go in.
It's great being able to choose which ones to play with, considering they are both currently stored in the same sealed tote.
I have heard similar issues with the GMR cams as well... or they might be the same problems from the say someone!
Hope you have good luck with them.... I rode in the car and it was a beast with a helluva power curve.....

why would i pm u for a tune, u only have 251 post theres no possible way u could be a good tuner with that low of a post count
Yes. The cams are reground, thus reducing the base circle. The smaller base circle is what was giving Bryan all the problems. The lash adjusters just cant compensate.
I know of a way to remove the hex bushing in a 2.2 cam blank and reposition it to the right location(so it can be used on the LSJ), I just dont know if anyone has tried it.

This is how the bushing needs to be placed in the LSJ cam

All you have to do is pull the bushing out then reposition it. That way the LSJ guys can use 2.2 blanks, and not have the base circle problem.
How-to remove the bushng
Get a piece of hex stock that just barely slides into the hole, then fill the hole with grease, put the piece of hex in, then put a rag over it and whack it with a 5Lb sledge. The bushing will pop right out. I do it all the time at work to get bushings out of blind holes.
I have blanks on the way, but so far from what I have seen and been told is that the blanks don't come with a hex in them and possibly aren't drilled for the hex bushing. I do have the tool made to press them in and the blanks will hopefully be in next week and I will have more info on this.
