Magden Performance Computer

Ok, this seems like a glorified Interceptor gauge. has anyone used this? or heard anything about it?

Here is their homepage and the details.

i think there are more readings available, and apparently they're coming out with a new computer that can accept new sensors like exhaust gas temp, and so on.

the cobalt can't read lambda stock correct? but i think if a wideband were installed and added, it would be all good.

I like that you plug it into your own LCD screen, so its not all crunched up on one little gauge.

I also like that you can display 5 parameters at once and choose different skins.

Its pretty expensive at 650, but i bet it would be nice to have if you did alot of tuning.

i think it would be cool to have just to keep tabs on it all. good alternative to an interceptor, and for us SC guys that like the TC RPD.

I think its nicer than the RPD, but the RPD does show a/r ratio.

true, but then it would be nearly as much to add the RPD to the SC's after building a harness, and a wideband sensor.

How does the RPD hook up? Has anyone looked into it yet? Does it plug into the OBD2 port, or is it hardwired? If its plug and play it would be pretty nice, however if it was hardwired it would be a nightmare trying to install it into the SS/SC.

it's hardwired i think, and people were saying harnesses to get it adapted were upwards of 300.

exactly why this looks so appealing to me. and with the upgraded one, i could justify the $800

you know, i think i'll get one of these when i'm ready, and we'll see. plus you can hook it into a normal 1 or 2 DIN head unit and double performance/audio, haha

Go for the double din touch screen, that would be a really nice setup.
