Max WHP before internals
depends on wether or not you dump the heaton supercharger. we're not really sure yet. 1 guy has gone turbo and put down 326/290 to the wheels, and the tuning is still not complete. (some kind of problem with maxing out the MAF tables in HPtuners.)
people have maxed out the eaton and made around 280-290whp.
theres people with good numbers not on this list, but it gives you an idea.

[QUOTE=XM15;1684393]Is that you Nick? Ted sent you to find out before he slaps the GT3071R on the SS, didn't he?
If thats not you, disregard the above comment, and welcome to the site!

Just wondering if I need to get the mop ready in the dyno bay.
Thanks for the welcome I've been on here awhile but never started a name.I like to keep up with things I work on)

You might need a mop. It depends on how far they push it. There won't be the heat from the M62 to worry about, and I'm assuming Ted will be fairly conservative with the tune at first. I've heard guys on here complain about the MAF tuning though. I guess there is only a 2 bar map in HPT (or something like that) which hurts the tuning efforts at higher psi. When do you plan on having the SS on the dyno? I need an excuse to stop on by.
He ran an 11.89 I believe.

I'm going to be pretty deep into the kit today if anybody wanted to come and check things out your more then welcome.Jannetty Racing in Waterbury,CT.(you know you want one XM15 you should stop in)
yea ive been debating a turbo kit. ill know for good once i see what you guys put out on the turbo'd lsj. cause if its only slightly over 300 idk if im gonna do it. (come spring ill prolly be a little over 300)
well I dunno what;s going on with my car yet... running a compression and leak down test tomorrow on it.
But anyway, been driving it at @330+whp (finally somewhat tuned) daily and it's been fine, still averaging 28-29mpg and I drive to and from manhattan everyday in rush hour lol.
but I think if my car didn't do that random lean spike at 24psi the other day, she'd still be happy.
Upgrading the fuel system in a week also since I think that is part of my tuning problem

it could possibly make the engine itself live longer.
why? not as much pressure. i won't know if cams are worth it myself untill i buy some.
