The progressive kit isn't really "needed" but some people find it nice to be able to adjust the settings on the fly.

wtpcobaltss - You should run a mixture of lots of water to a little meth, something like 90water/10meth until you get tuned for it, otherwise it will make you run way to rich with a 50/50 mix or higher. Also the distilled water/meth will not ruin the rotors unless you used NORMAL every day water. That would cause some issues, but as long as you use distilled water your fine. Yes tap it into the cai, and your all set.

Progressive allows you to adjust the amount of meth output per psi of boost... basically it starts minimally injecting on a low boost number, then maximizes output at the high boost number...

the best setup for our cars is the standard... the supercharger makes tons of heat, and is best cooled using a larger charge all at once... the complete opposite of a progressive kit.

The progressive kit however can be controlled to spray 100% at X psi. For example when you hit 5psi you are at 100% and when your cruising its not spraying. It's pretty worthless but you get a neat-o controller!

So with the standard kit, you're always spraying meth? Standard kit does not allow you to set it to spray at X psi?

the other reason you dont need progressive is basicly with the blower when you step on it it instantly hits 10-12 (at least mine does), basicly were you would have it on 100% anyways.

i know ill catch hell for this, but i am currently running 50/50 with a 2gph nozzle with a stage 2 tune and a 2.85. i see a slight seat of the pants increase. however without the meth im having knock and its pulling timing, with the meth its not pulling timing, that does explain why it feels like it pulls harder (albeit not much harder). also with the meth ive now dropped from running 94 octane to 91. being i dont stomp on my car all the time, the meth is there for the higher octane when i need it, but when cruising im not waisting gas thats another 8 cent/liter more. with a progressive controller id experiment with 89 octane and bring the meth on real low in boost, but thats for warmer weather.

....

Standard kit injects 100% at a set psi.

progressive starts at low psi, then PROGRESSES to 100% injection at set high psi boost.

I would tell you how stupid it is to do what your doing, but its not really worth my time lol. I bet your af/r is in the 9s with meth roffle.

ShortStack - you can have the progressive kit spray fully though at the lower psi. Example "Start psi 5lbs, Full psi 5lbs". You can also have it be progressive as "Start psi 5lbs, Full psi at 10lbs". It doesn't matter all that much because most of us get 10+ psi when we have our foot in it. I enjoy the start at 5psi because I will occasionally blip the throttle half way and spray a short burst of meth and get a little kick.

ye the laws in the u.s. are strict, where i live the drinking age is 18, i've been bartending for almost 2 years now... its harder to earn the cash you need at 18 where you live.
