theres only 3 spacers you could use washers to achieve the same width

ah, from what it sounded like I was figuring the spacers were made of the phenolic material

Then after of course they would drop instantly. (at the strip when i ran my 13.1 @ 107 my iat2's were 160's at the trap and that wasnt even coming out of third!!) Its more for idling in the staging lanes or at a drive threw where it shines because it keeps the heat transfer from the cylinder head to the manifold and blower at bay
Hmmm....

I may have to pick this up then. I'm installing my GMR Dual Pass within the next few weeks (the missing link to my complete GMR Stage 3 kit).

My IAT2's as my car sits now are usually only 10-15*F above IAT1 while cruising, and max out around 135-140*F after a long pull. I do heat soak up to 140ish on hot days if I'm sitting in traffic, but they usually instantly drop, but it would still be nice to avoid all that. Thanks for makin the thread and posting results.

This is a very nice mod. As far as inexpensive cooling mods go. I would rank them like this.

1. Dual Pass Endplate
2. ZZP phenolic intake spacer
3. FMHE

Ahhh ok. So you're running a little cooler than a stock m62? The Hi Helix is that your "h62"?

Correct.

The H62 has "hi helix" rotors. They are twisted 120 degrees vs. the 60 degree twist of the M62.

I run a decent amount cooler than when I had my M62, and it recovers much faster.

Not to mention the added pull

whats the proper gasket orientation? sorry for the dumb question lol

opps nvm, re read, gaskets ontop of spacer.
was wondering which ones were layed on first.

i have a plate under the supercharger. this is how i shoot my distilled water.
I hope i dont run into any clearance issues since the blower is already a lil higher than the norm.

I didnt really notice any difference in the belt. The spacer moves it more out toward the core support than up

Im basically stock and saw my coolant temps almost reach boost cut levels. Driving normally on the way home from work too. A lot of useful info in this thread.

I wonder why GM never started producing the H62 if its so much more efficent than the M62

yes there is the dipstick bracket doesnt line up with the manifold after the spacer. You could bend and tweak it but im putting my blower on this weekend and would have to tweak the bracket again so i left it loose

The one I sent you was not a ZZP one. I have one of ZZP's sitting here in front of me. Both are the exact same, except the one I sent you, I got just like I sent you, with no bolts or gaskets (that's also why it was half the price). If you need new bolts, go to the hardware store and take your stock bolts with you, and pick up some that are about 1/4" longer.
