a couple of notches in the upper radiator support is all it would take.

You've got plenty of room. Plus, even if you didn't make it with universal joints and elbows, you could support the motor from underneath with a jack, take the rear motor mount off briefly and the engine would tilt back

^x2 A TVS is much harder to bolt down due to its increased width.

And yes, I have one.

You can use this with an Auto, and yes it makes the bottom bolts very hard to get at but a couple notches in the lip of the rad support is what I did to help the process along.

i found with my tvs and the spacer the best way for me is to take a 6m allen regular small one and cut it down about a 1/2 inch and slip my hand under the core support. works great

for the bolts that come with this where do the 2 really long ones go? there are 5 hex that are the same length, one normal head bolt for the lower bracket and then two long hex heads. where do those 2 go?

I had the same question:

When you take off your intake manifold, youll rmove several bolts and 2 nuts. The two nuts you take off are on studes that thread into the cylinder head. Take these long studs out, and replace them with the long bolts.
Might want to get some washers at Lowes first though.

It was a little tight, but with a 12" x 3/8" Extension I didn't have any problem torquing down my S/C Bolts.

The old ones *might* reach, but you may not get enough threads engaged in the hole to hold properly.
I just used the new bolts with some washers I found laying arround that just happened to fit that I had purchased for a difrent project.

I don't have a TVS so I dont know how diffrently it sits then the M62,
But I had to get a LONG 6mm Allen Driver, that way the part where the
socket extension hooks up was past the front fender lip where I could easily
put a rachet / breakerbar / torque wrench on it. I think I got it at Lowes, so its
whatever brand they sell.

I know this is an old thread, but any of you running the phenolic spacer w/ the tvs having any boost problems or idling problems like w/ I vacuum leak? I installed my spacer w/ my tvs & had a shitload of problems along w/ a p0507 code, couldn't even drive it. Ended up taking the spacer off & the problems went away. Don't know if it was the spacer or not. Was thinking maybe the tvs had more air flow or something & the spacer effected it adversely.
