I'm about to pull the trigger on a big ZZP order for my 06' LSJ. I based this order on research I've done to max out the M62's potential. This being said, I've put everything in this order I believe I need except for:

• HP Tuners VCM
• Wideband Guage (I'm total newb here, please recommend solutions)

So, please comment on what I hope are the final parts I need to round out my M62 LSJ build (keeping in mind I run a 2.8" on 60#'s already):

A lot of people like the AEM UEGO, but I went with a PLX because it has a brain box that can be connected to HPTuners.

Save $100 and skip the intake manifold spacer.

It's not needed, and usually ends up causing a leak.

 

you do not need the fuel pump or the coupler or the plug or the spacer

your not going to max out the m62 potential with just bolt on **** if you want to do that step up to the plate and port the head resleeve the block run a set of 11to1 pistons a good set of rods and cams and valve springs an ati dampener find a great tuner and run some spray

Snout plug is reusable when servicing the coupler. M62 only holds 4oz of oil.

 

Also don't bother with the LS4 TB.

 

And that zzp header had a 2 bolt flange from header/dp that has a tendency to leak

This. minus sleeving the block & spray would be a nice setup.

no need to sleeve a block or run spray to run a good daily 300whp m62 setup.

all i see in that list is more waste of $$ than gains.

 

there is a need if the bores are not round then things do not seal up and nitrous is the cheapest hp available and when tuned accordingly makes for a very fast and reliable setup

 

nitrous is good for you, try it and see for your self

 

i know is good. i personally like it. but most are afraid of it just because there afraid to try it on there cars until they sit on a car with spray

 

take the throttle body off. i ran one on the m62 and it wasnt bad but you can pick one up on here used for 80$

i guess you might only need a bowtech down in texas with those scrawny deer... up in wisconsin the deer have some size to them! bowtech doesnt cut it...

their mid length header kit sucks, i regretted buying it the day i received it. Id recommend the stainless steel ebay longtubes.
