need your opinions

My set up.

TVS with custom tune & 2.9" pulley
water/meth
CAI
dual pass opt B
H/E
ZZP mid lengths
3" HF DP
GMMP cat back

1. Would it be worth it, $600, to go to a 3" exhaust? Not convinced I would see any real gains in HP over the GMMP.

2. What is the best clutch kit, Spec 2+?

Thanks for your help

Get the 3". But it doesn't have to be $600, just get a local exhaust shop to fab one up for you.

Well, not to thread jack, but i'm curious.. How much boost are you seeing on the 2.9" Pulley with your 2.5" cat-back?

I've read it makes a huge difference in power.. then i read somewhere that it made like 4 horsepower.. soo.. I'm going with a cut-out for dyno/strip and keeping the 2.5.

exhaust

I was thinking of the zzp 3" due to the low noise factor. some of the 3" set ups are way too loud

not sure what gains u would see...depends on the tune i guess. I'm running stock pulley on the tvs, 24* timing and im at 21psi...going to go to 25 or 26* tomorrow and retune the car since i just got header, 3" dp and 3" exhaust. I suggest do what XM15 said (bastard beat me to it again..lol) buy a resinator and muffler and get a shop to weld it up to some 3" pipe...dont know how much it would be but i am certain it would be cheaper then $600

i have the CTI system 3 inch from OTTP complete header all the way back fits perfectly. I tried Hahn shorty, vibrant long tube (both 2.5) with Corsa back no cats in either prefer what i got now with cat. Power is there 150 mph is ez with an M62 and an area47 tune. 1100 bolt on no worries.
