In my video, those are short shifts and shifting just after getting into boost (under 5psi). When its WOT, It sounds like a tire blow out. LOL.

Will this belt fit? 4050345. I bought a zzp used kit from a guy that was going turbo. And that's the belt he gave me. I tried putting it on and it's to small.

yes they leak about 2 psi if you dont keep them greased. I put a shot of bearing grease (thick crap in a tube) The cylinder is brass so it wears after a few years. I got my used. After I put grease in it the leak did not return yet. Figure its something I will have to grease when I do my 6 month once over of the car. Its nothing to keep me from wanting to sell it. I would still buy one again. The sound is by far the most fun part of having a turbo...

What size return lines are you all running? Precision recommended I run a -4an feed and -10an (5/8) return. I'm running a 5/8" return and the past couple times I got under my car to do some work I noticed a small oil stain on the hotside of the turbo, but it feels and looks different than the new oil that went into the engine, it's lighter and less viscous, and what's more strange is that I haven't turned my car on for about a week now.

did you time your cam position sensor? If so then its that, it leaks like a siff when you pull it to retime. Also things that look to be coming from the hotside can be transmission or brake fluid. What color? If it is on the turbo then your turbo seals need a rebuild. Been down all these roads, all are easy fixes, just need time to get them done or checked.

No I didn't do that, it's a brand new turbo though, no joke I didn't drive 10 miles on it even, could the seal really blow out that quickly?

very unlikely a new turbo would need any work. My turbo was well used when I rebuilt it, but man you would think it was new now.

Hmm well hopefully it'll be up and running by tomorrow, when I start it I'll give it a few nice revs and let it idle and watch underneath the car for any leaking or dripping, hopefully it doesn't need any work. Haha nice man, I was thinking of doing that originally, buying used and rebuilding, but my laziness got the best of me sadly :P

Start the car and look over every connection, oil line, plug, galley, get a bright flashlight and check everything. Could have been just one of those things that got residual during the rebuild and just now drained out of an engine crevice or something. Just check your car every day before and after a trip for the first several trips. I still do daily preflights since I am cracking the car open every other weekend for something new. Cams will be next, get them in the mail tomorrow.
