Depends how hard you spin it and drive

Always a good idea to change the oil and grease the needle bearings.

Also I ran supertechs since 2007 never had an issue before or since, other than LNF rocker contact most recently.
I'm a little late to the party on this topic in here, but....

I contacted Supertech before purchasing my springs, and one of their techs assured me I wouldn't have any clearance issues with either of their kits (75 lb / 78 lb).

I went with the 75 lbers due to the great price ZZP was selling them at (they have them listed as 78's), and the fact 75 lb springs are more than enough.

29 psi?! Mother of Christ. So should I invest in a higher boost gauge? Also was thinking dual interceptors?

So should I just throw it on and go for a tune on my current setup?

I'd drive to smg and put it on there. Then get tuned. Tyler put down around 350 on the old setup iirc

So since I missed this discussion on springs, I'm looking into valvesprings very soon so I can spin this bad boy. Was thinking supertech 78#'s. What do you guys think? Best place to grab some?

ZZP.

Although, ZZP has them listed incorrectly, and are actually the Supertech 75lb kit.

U can find the Supertech spring kits on E-bay for a decent price as well.

I believe they make 75lb, 76lb, 78lb & 94lb springs for the Ecotec.

Check out my "how to" when you are ready to install them.
