New problem

Car is breaking up at wot and half throttle, also terrible miss on cold dead cold starts after sitting all night
Interceptor is showing 20+ misfires on # 1 checked the plugs a few days back all looked fine, forgot to do a compression test, going to Test #1 tomorrow
Is it possible that the one coil is weak And getting blow out at medium to high boost?
Also took a fuel sample and its at 80% ethanol

not unusual for folks to break the porcelain in the spark plug just removing and replacing. torque to 15 ft lbs; few people do, but it is important to do so.

Hard to tell until it's apart but looks like my phenolic intake gasket blew out on number 1
Paper for the loss
Compression was 180-180-180-176

Not surprised by the gasket, but that should have no effect on compression.

i had no success with the phenolic, either from leaks or from any benefit. Folks who have them, generally love them. They should they spent the time and money on them. I took mine off .

I never considered one in my build.

GMR didnt need them during testing, nor did Time Attack or the GA cars. That's my logic.

I took mine off as well. There appeared to be a minimal gain, but not quantifiable. It started leaking, so off it came.

Also check the O-rings on the injector insulators. Same thing happened to me a few years back and one of the o-rings was torn and leaking air.

if the spacer is leaking you would see a drop in boost though right? then again even a pinhole might not show up but be harmful

gonna make sure all the ends fit etc then I will decide if you or I will cut the hose and assemble. It depends on how successfully I lay it out and figure you will like what I have set up. OR I send all the stuff with bulk hose sufficient for you to a do it. If I do that, I will also send you some vice jaws for the hose; I assume you have a vice. Holding the hose, cutting it correctly and assembling the outer sleeve are the most difficult parts. The black classic hose from Russell really does assemble well. I got tips etc.

I am actually pretty excited about the set up to tell the truth and I squeezed the capacity you want which is much greater than one litre.

And I have decided to send you my sooper dooper 044 mounting bracket i acquired all the way from the UK coz I am such a decent guy lol.... it is blue, as blue is faster, so you will have to bring out the jiggle can for that black scheme of yours....
