well I didn't want to destroy the compressor so it is gutted and now I just need to clean it up and install it put the flywheel and **** on then its off to the cradle we go I will say they work a lot like a jet engine hydraulic pump

It not as easy as it looks. Need to re number everything once a new person takes a spot.

Did a compression test when I changed plugs last night getting ready for the track next weekend. All consistent
150-150-146-149
Same tester on a 15k mile LNF showed 145-152 across the board. On a 8:1 WRX showed 125-129, 10:1 Evo read 160ish across. I'm content.

Lol I know. Ive never seen this tester read above 160 on any motor. I used to make a big fuss about it, but I figure if all the cars are consistently low and all the numbers are consistent, that's good enough for me.

Its consistent with other LSJ's and LNF's we've tested so its good for now. When I start really pushing the motor maybe I'll get one and check it more often. I mainly wanted to make sure compression was even across, especially after TennPenn just found out his cams were causing the low compression as a few others had found. Going to the track next weekend and want it running correctly.
