Right. And that maths up there says 5.25" pulley.

What I'm getting at is by your 62/112 comparison wouldn't the 1900 be "impossible" to use also?

Here's the calculation of my old mp1900 setup minus efficiency since I can't see 2.8-2.9 PR

sc rpm - 12,071 @ 6500 engine rpm
sc pulley - 3.5"
flow - 1325 m^3/hr (779.86 CFM)
pr - 2.8-2.9 PR (26-28 PSI)

PR is actually prob closer to 2.6-2.7 w/ full exhaust

neither are impossible; the m112 just goes south very quickly

The tvs 1900 stays more efficient all the way to 20.5 psi (2.4 PR)

With a heavily ported head, a full 3" catless exhaust and a aggressive set of cams... it's a solid upgrade if you don't already have a TVS 1320

Had me scratching trying to recall my setup from 2010-11 lol

I think over all

Once we nail how big we can really get with the exhaust side of the head and make the smallest of TVS pulleys actually fall into an acceptable PR range while maintaining a decent temperature... we are onto something

To get into the 370-380s on a stock engine you need to a lean on the afr and add an ridiculous amount of timing w/ a 2.5/2.6 when using a pump option (e85).
you don't need to run that lean. you chose to do so because you have **** fuel.

My car, on both turbo and TVS, started loosing power over 12.0-12.2 AFR. Didn't gain anything going from 11.3 to 11.8 and a tad leaner. It was a slow power drop, but as I richened up testing into the 10's it was a drastic drop.

So because the K series Honda motor has such a more efficient head and stronger bottom, what is allowing them to reach over 400whp on the M62 and other agx blowers on 93 octane and 11.0-1 comp? Some aren't even using aftercoolers.

I see they use bigger pulleys. Is that because their crank od is different then ours. They hit lower boost as well keeping thei blower in the efficiency range even revving to 8k plus.

I don't feel their bottom end is better then ours but their head is awsome

Slight problem though Paul

2.5-2.7 PR (22-25) psi with the 1320 on a LSJ will spin well off the map and into 40% or less range using a 2.2-2.3 pulley (2.3 pulley/ATI @ 8000 = 23,582)

You can achieve the same flow w/ less rpm using a tvs 1900 with a 3.2-3.4 pulley to 8,000 rpm and maintain above 60%.

This is assuming you can make boost drop like a rock

I hear ya, but since I have a 1320 to play with this is what I'll be using lol.
have a few ideas to get boost down. Efficiency isn't a huge concern with the amount of meth being sprayed through the blower to control outlet temps initially, plus a few other cooling things we're running.
so far with the 2.7 on my car at 6800 rpm peak was 22 psi. haven;t pulled further yet as I've been tuning the car at work (well flash drive 80 miles, go through logs reflash drive home 80 miles) haven't done much more than that so far. but 11.8 afr 25 degrees timing 22 psi peak iat2 was only 113 and that's with only a 1/3 of the cooling stuff going in the car. anthony's car with the ported head and cams was hitting 165-175 deg iat2 with his cooling setup. (that was in the 7200rpm and up range)

I'd be ok with keeping it under 20 psi at 8k rev limit for now on stock ci. It's not ideal but works.

Thing is though I just love the way the car feels with the 2.6 pulley on. That initial hit and throttle response is lovely LOL :-)

Was Anthony running only one pump with 55gph?

The shurflo 300 psi pumps can only provide enough pressure to about 30-34gph. You'll need to run two pumps otherwise
