it was the first time out on slicks i did not know what to expect so i took it easy but from the 1/8 to the 1/4 the car picked up 26mph i though that was pretty good

Ya with only a 2.0 60ft you could rip a low 12, high 11 1320 with a good launch

it was the third time out but first on slicks the last time i was out it was a fight to keep the car in the 14s and out of the 15s radials are ok on the street but not worth it for the track

yup cams and on a 2.8

I'm sad that jap couldn't get some good runs in before his motor went knocking like a woodpecker, although he was on street tires too.

me too, good weather and slicks, i would have been low 12s. i was trapping 116 on street tires

cobalt crew out here used to roll deep to the track pretty much every other week back in the day. nobody wants to do that anymore around here.
I"m dying to get back out, been 3 years since I had something to run at the track, if my cobalt wasn't pissing oil it'd been out there this year. will be once the tracks open up though.

I haven't had my car at the track since probably 09 ish give or take

and yeah mike we used to have quite the crew rolling out every weekend, definitely miss those days

to protect the innocent, I suppose, they closed the KC drag strip; which kept area from breaking new records.
